The Roof Slides

I was sitting in our office and noticed a ticking coming from the roof which I tuned out. After a few minutes I realised that that the ticking was caused by gradual movement of the snow on the roof. "It's going to slide" I said to myself and, grabbing the video camera, went into the living room to record the event. Just to give you an idea of sizes, the top of the deck railing that you can see on the porch is about 3 1/2 feet (1m) above the level of the snow at the beginning of the video.
