Not Enough Snow!2nd January 2006 We’d hoped that the New Year would bring more fresh snow (and lot’s of it) but, while colder, it hasn’t snowed very much. Deep holes are appearing in the snow cover at Squaw Valley where the water flowing under the snow is creating sink holes. I’ve skied into a number of creeks that feed small waterfalls like this! Still, at least there’s enough snow to ski on and it shows us how spoiled we’ve been in previous years. roman
