Matt comes to visit

It was a pleasure to get an email from Matt asking if he could come up for a weekend. Inevitably we went skiing for a couple of days and just hung out together for the rest of his stay.
 
 
Skiing with Matt always leads to the terrain park and I used my snap and grin digital camera to video some of his jumps at Squaw and Alpine. The biggest jumps he did were at Alpine and the photo on the right above shows the largest of them taken from the Kangaroo chair. Matt is very competent - I wish I could say the same for myself in the terrain park. I think that the older you get, the more you think about broken bones and therefore the more nervous you are in places like terrain parks. Anyway, I had a significant crash that I'm still aching from two weeks later and I got it on video too!
