Goodbye 2007December 2007 Just a short summary for the last few weeks of the year.
Our new lot has quite a few trees on it and we offered our friends free christmas trees if anybody wanted one. A few took us up on our offer and we joined some of them for their tree felling and even some tree decorating - it’s been years since either of us has decorated a tree.)
The remainder of our year has been pretty quiet. We got to ski just before the christmas week and then the hordes descended upon Tahoe and so we have just laid low, hiking occasionally around the golf course. We did cook a traditional christmas dinner this year as we had some friends coming over with their children. We cooked a huge turkey and have been working our through the leftovers in the traditional manner (sandwiches, bubble & squeak, stews, etc.) roman
