After the success of renting a place last year we thought we’d do the same again - but with a broadband connection this time! We stayed at Swereview Cottage just a few miles from Chipping Norton. It was a great little cottage - quiet, warm and cosy. We were able to hike from the cottage and were lucky to have good weather again.

We had Anthony and Shannon visit for a weekend and took them to the Cotswold Wildlife Park. It was surprisingly good, the animals seemed quite content, but it was a little surreal seeing rhinos in the middle of the English countryside.

We spent a weekend in Brighton with Roman’s brother, took a trip to the Imperial War Museum at Duxford where we watched a pilot give his spitfire a run out, met a friend from Truckee at Kew Gardens, took in some plays and generally had a good time.
